An entrance exam? No, we don&#8217;t do that ;).  <br><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\"><br>The biggest fallacy about CrossFit is that it is only for super fit people.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">That you are not allowed to participate until you&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">10 pull-ups can,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">100 pounds can squat o<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">f look like you&#8217;ve been training for 5 years. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">But, CrossFit is not a competition you have to qualify for first.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">CrossFit is a training method that makes you <\/span><strong data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1612\" style=\"font-size: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">fit. <\/strong> <span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">Not the other way around.<br><br>&#8220;I&#8217;m not fit enough <\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">is the number one reason people don&#8217;t start. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">But let&#8217;s face it.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">When are you &#8220;fit enough&#8221;?<br><\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">If you can run 5 kilometers?&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">If you have a six-pack?&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">When you no longer feel out of breath climbing stairs?<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1901\" data-end=\"1981\">Everyone starts somewhere. Also the people you see training at CrossFit Ede now. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2000\">What you don&#8217;t see:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2119\">\n<li data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2045\">\n<p data-start=\"2004\" data-end=\"2045\">That they too once started without fitness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2046\" data-end=\"2069\">\n<p data-start=\"2048\" data-end=\"2069\">That they also had doubts<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2070\" data-end=\"2119\">\n<p data-start=\"2072\" data-end=\"2119\">That they also thought, &#8220;Is this even for me?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2121\" data-end=\"2208\">CrossFit is scalable. That means each workout is customized to your level. That&#8217;s the whole idea of our concept :).  &nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">Whether you have: <\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">20 years of athletic experience o<\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">or have barely moved in the past 10 years. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">The workout is customized to you. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">Not the other way around.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c76f2aa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c76f2aa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"2388\" data-end=\"2411\">It may seem that way. And, quite frankly, in many cases it is. But, that&#8217;s a bit more nuanced. <span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">Especially when you see a video or walk in on a fanatical workout, it can come across as quite &#8221;impressive.&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">But what you see is not the starting point of those people. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: unset; font-weight: unset; letter-spacing: unset; text-transform: unset;\">What you see is their development.
